4. Sizing methodology

After describing the electrothermal modeling of different types of electrical conductors, we turn to the practical methodology of electrical harness sizing. All automotive electrical architectures can be broken down into several elementary supply lines. An elementary feeder consists of a protected power supply, a tree of electrical conductors and one or more electrical components, as shown in figure 11 .
