In both cases, decontamination control is based on verification of the absence of aggressive chemicals, which indicates the effectiveness of the operation.
The sensitivity of the proposed analytical method must be adapted to the risk assessment carried out by toxicologists. If this sensitivity cannot be achieved, the limits of the analytical method, principally its detection limit, must be clearly specified to the users of these data.
