INTRODUCTION
The former French standard NF X15-140, and to a lesser extent the European EN 60068-3 series, are the normative texts most widely used in France for characterizing thermostatic and climatic chambers. However, there are major discrepancies between these documents when it comes to conformity assessment. This raises a number of legitimate questions: are the proposed methods equivalent? Are we obliged to follow a method once it has been standardized?
