5.1 Don't neglect first response training for your staff

Training your staff in first response is essential and required by law. However, satisfying the regulatory requirements may not be enough, and you may be faced with a back-up problem if all your trained employees are absent. We therefore recommend that you train as many of your employees as possible in emergency response techniques, so that you can be sure of having trained personnel on hand at all times.
