2. Precision estimators, confidence intervals and tests

Calculating the precision of estimators is akin to calculating confidence intervals or hypothesis testing. This section introduces classic asymptotic statistical methods, such as the Wald test and the likelihood ratio test, and procedures based on resampling methods, such as bootstrapping.
