Interlaboratory comparisons

Organization, execution and evaluation of tests on test objects or identical or similar tests by at least two different laboratories under predetermined conditions (NF EN ISO 13528 § 3.1).

Standard deviation for suitability assessment

Standard deviation used in the assessment of suitability, which may be linked to the reproducibility standard deviation or to the declaration of conformity to the objective of the measurement method (NF EN ISO 13528 § 3.4).

Suitability test

Determination of a laboratory's testing performance by means of inter-laboratory comparisons (NF EN ISO 13528 § 3.2).

National stallion

Standard recognized by a national authority for use in the country.
