3. Application to hyperfine spectroscopy
In NRS, hyperfine spectroscopy measures hyperfine parameters, as in MS. The techniques used are nuclear forward scattering (NFS), grazing incidence nuclear scattering and Bragg nuclear scattering. Examples will be given of the first two techniques. Although different isotopes can easily be implemented (see table 2 ), for simplicity we will limit ourselves to applications with 57 Fe Mössbauer probes.
