3. Conclusion
In practice, the choice of electroanalytical technique depends mainly on the sensitivity and detection limit that one wishes to achieve. The table 1 summarizes the performance gains of solid electrode voltammetry described in this article. These gains can be improved by miniaturizing the size of the electrodes and by making considerable progress in the quality of microprocessors and in reducing the acquisition time of the measured currents (even if they are very low). In addition, the implementation of nanostructured electrode materials and configuration networks, when properly controlled, will naturally lead to improved measurement performance by increasing the signal-to-noise ratio.
