4. Optimizing solid-phase microextraction

When developing a preconcentration method using solid-phase microextraction, several parameters need to be optimized:

  • extraction mode ;

  • the nature of the polymer ;

  • the time required to achieve equilibrium in compound distribution between matrix and polymer;

  • the desorption time of polymer compounds.
