Domaine optique; optical domain

Spectral range covering 0.4 to 14.0 μm.

Domaine reflectif; reflective domain

Spectral range (0.4; 3.0 μm) where the measured radiative flux is dominated by the reflection of solar radiation in the Earth-atmosphere system.

Domaine émissif; emissive domain

Spectral range (3.0; 14.0 μm) where the measured radiative flux is dominated by the emission phenomena of a body at ambient temperature in the Earth-atmosphere system.

Phase function

Angular distribution of radiation scattered by aerosols. Depends on wavelength and particle type.
