RF end circuits; RF front-end

All the radio-frequency circuits, sub-assemblies and components which, when combined, form the signal transmission/modulation and reception stages used in communication systems.

Core network, back-haul

Part of the wireless network designed for fixed-antenna to fixed-antenna communications, this being one of the application targets for systems in the THz range.

Signal modulation, signal modulation

A technique for modifying the amplitude and/or frequency and/or phase of a high-frequency signal (the carrier) as a function of a signal containing the information to be transmitted, whether analog or digital.
