Anthropomorphic

The term "anthropomorphic" refers to the fact that the gripper partially or fully replicates and mimics the human hand, whether in terms of size, shape, or overall appearance.

Dexterity

Dexterity is the ability to move a grasped object within the hand from an initial configuration to a final configuration, while following a defined trajectory and maintaining the object’s stability. The trajectory is defined at every moment in terms of position, velocity, and acceleration.

Flexibility

The flexibility of a robotic hand refers to its ability to adapt to a wide variety of tasks; the tasks in question involve grasping and fine manipulation.
