3.1 Positives

Recent French and foreign studies conducted on animaloid robots, mainly in Japan, show encouraging results in combating stress and increasing quality of life through strong interactions between the frail person, the robot and the caregiver (Sant'Anna, Morat & Rigaud, 2011). Here, the study shows that PARO ® is both a time indicator and a partner for the caregiver, and is moving towards simplified robotic mediations.
