3. Conclusion

The global drive for energy efficiency and savings has created a colossal opportunity to change the world. Many people have invested in these new activities in order to contribute to this formidable sustainable development. Building thermography is part of this craze.

But opportunity comes with its own contradiction: the opportunism of profiteers. Building thermography is no exception. Will it last?

In particular, we are working to professionalize the industry by providing clients with a solid basis for choosing serious thermographers. Since 2012, they have been certified as building thermographers by COFRAC-accredited bodies (see PESP).

Much remains to be done to bring formalization to the point of acceptable quantification for contradictory control during acceptance. Let's hope that state bodies will commit to...
