5. Calibration of specific sensors and thermometers
5.1 Platinum resistance thermometers and platinum resistance thermometers
This type of calibration is reserved for platinum resistance thermometers whose characteristics meet the criteria specified in the text of ITS-90. Very few laboratories in France are able to perform calibrations to ITS-90. This calibration method will therefore be dealt with briefly. For further information, please refer to the ITS-90 documents freely available on the BIPM website.
