4. Measurement results

As our aim is to demonstrate the accuracy and maturity of the method, we present a selection of validating and relevant experimental results.

Tungsten, which has been the subject of numerous characterization and test measurements, is mainly used as a reference material.

In the legends, since the instrumented surfaces are orthotropic, the directions of illumination and observation will be expressed in terms of the angles formed with the normal; the abbreviations T _c , T _Lr , T _Lb and ρ′′ remaining widely used.
