8. Conclusion

Dynamic biochip technology benefits from the emulation generated by our growing need for these miniaturized systems on which we are increasingly dependent. The density of information they contain makes it possible to characterize and classify numerous interactions in parallel, and, like static biochips, they are generating major advances in genomics and proteomics in particular. The simplicity and reliability of biochips make them a major tool for the widespread, low-cost, real-time analysis of small quantities of molecules. Companies are already imagining tomorrow's biochips capable of doing the work of a complete lab-on-chip, from molecule extraction to analysis and diagnosis. This should enable them to be used universally, both as routine tools - particularly in healthcare diagnostics and agri-food quality control - and in research laboratories as investigative tools for studying the...
