    In general, due to the fragility of materials, which makes it impossible to guarantee the absolute sharpness of edges, on mechanical parts the point has no material representation.

    However, it is often used as a fictitious element in objects (the center of a sphere or the apex of a cone).

    Example

    Examples: the apex of a cone (see figure 1 ), the intersection of the three planes of the faces of a parallelepiped, the center of a circle or sphere (see figure 1 ).
