5. QMS control: the cornerstone of measurement process control
The QMS (Quality Management System) is organized around a quality plan, which is the laboratory's "shop window". During quality audits, the auditors refer to the information contained in this document, checking that the organizational and technical provisions have been properly applied.
The quality plan refers to a quality policy, the responsibilities that the STAC laboratory has chosen to assign to each of its staff, the procedures of the quality system and the measures implemented for its management.
The STAC laboratory's current quality policy is based on three priorities ("customer satisfaction", "continuous improvement of services", "extension of COFRAC accreditation to other activities").
It is broken down into quality objectives monitored by quality indicators.
