3.1 Sensor calculation
The calculation of a transducer, or more precisely of its test body, generally comes down to simple cases of strength of materials (tension, bending, torsion of beams, plates, diaphragms). Table

gives formulas designed to simplify the calculation of test bodies. Having chosen the location of the gauges, we can calculate the deformation ε (with its sign) for each of them. The corresponding resistance variation (with sign) is :
