7. Conclusion

In this article, the practice of digital filtering has been presented, focusing on its software implementation (under MATLAB) and some real-world applications.

The originality of this work lies in the fact that the design of a digital filter from a given specification is proposed in a simple way in MATLAB. In addition, didactic examples are presented throughout the article, enabling the reader to familiarize himself with the proposed concepts.

Applications on real data have demonstrated the value of digital filtering for universal and cultural issues.

As filtering is a fundamental operation in information processing, it will be based not only on the digital revolution we are experiencing, some of whose tools are proposed in this article, but also on artificial intelligence, and in particular, Deep Learning....
