A direct conversion (homodyne) receiver architecture is a configuration that transposes the reception band directly into the baseband (BB) and uses low-pass filters to eliminate adjacent interference.
Radio Frequency Front End; RF Front End
In a radio receiver, a radio frequency front end is a generic term for all circuits between the antenna input of a receiver up to and including the mixer stage. It includes all circuits in the receiver that process the signal at the initial radio frequency input, before it is converted to a lower intermediate frequency (IF).
