1. Decentralized renewable energies

Energy and sustainable development are now two inseparable concepts. Awareness of this link led the United Nations General Assembly to declare 2012 the International Year of Sustainable Energy for All (SE4ALL). . The aim of this initiative is to raise awareness among the general public and decision-makers of the importance of sustainable access to energy, the need for energy efficiency, the availability of local, regional and international sources of renewable energy (RE) and the means of transporting this energy from production centers to end consumers.
