9. Conclusion

Among the acoustic impacts of various industrial activities, the problem of aircraft noise is rather particular (multiplicity of players, impacted populations, periodicity of noise events, specificity of sources, etc.) and the principles of the monitoring system appear difficult to transpose. On the other hand, the objective is generalizable: to provide a tool for understanding noise pollution, working on large samples to determine the precise weight of influencing factors. In the field of civil aviation, an integrated aircraft noise monitoring system is a remarkable tool for the engineer, thanks to the statistical quality of the data used, which gives the databases a robustness rarely encountered in the experimental field.
