Refers to the voluntary inclusion of social and ethical issues in corporate activities. Corporate activities are understood here in the broadest sense: economic activities, internal interactions (employees, management, shareholders) and external interactions (suppliers, customers, others).

Pacte Mondial des Nations Unies; Global Compact United Nations

Voluntary commitment framework launched in 2000, inviting companies, associations and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to respect ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor standards, the environment and anti-corruption.
