Éthique; ethic

Ethics is a philosophical discipline concerned with responsible practice. It considers the criteria that guide free action in situations that respect oneself and others.

Social; social

Adjective referring to issues of relationships between members of a society (interaction between people; constitution and membership of social groups, including inclusion and exclusion; inequalities and position in the structure of society; trajectories; experience, representation and meaning; relationship to others, including power or gender relationships). In English, "social" also includes the meaning of societal in French.

Societal; social

Adjective referring to societal issues (problems facing society, societal choices), covering economic, political, social, environmental...
