3.1 Compressive and simple tensile strength

3.1.1 Experimental setup

For each composition, the simple compressive strength was determined on 6 cylindrical specimens 11.8 cm in diameter and 23.6 cm in height. After mortar placement, the specimens were stored in a chamber at 20 ˚C and 100% relative humidity. They were demolded after 24 h and stored for 27 days under the same conditions.
