2. Flow chart presentation

The first processing stages, which are carried out in the countries where the cocoa plantations are located (figure 3 ), produce working cocoa (fermented and dried cocoa beans) from the pods. This is then transformed into semi-finished products: cocoa butter, cocoa powder, cocoa paste/mass (figure 4 ). Chocolate production is the ultimate transformation of these semi-finished products, in association with sugar and possibly milk powder (milk and white chocolate), during a formulation operation (figure 5 )....
