1. Cosmetic food supplements: what the regulations say
There is no regulatory definition of cosmetic foodstuffs.
We can postulate that these are products at the borderline between foodstuffs (regulation 2002/178/EC, directive 2002/46/EC) and cosmetics (directive 76/768/EC).
