3. Steps to take to enhance customer relations
For too long, professionals have considered that information should not be given to customers. Not to mention manufacturing secrets, the asymmetry of information made it possible at best to facilitate one's work (by ellipses or communication pirouettes...), at worst to dupe the next link.
Without wishing to be polemical, we've come a long way from the days when the beef served on our shelves was in fact "cull cow", and sometimes even British.
We now need to go even further in terms of transparency, as customers need this information to make their choices. To be more precise, some customers want information and guarantees on certain products.
Traceability and transparency enable products to be differentiated and segmented, avoiding anonymity that is all too often synonymous with exacerbated competition and devaluation....
