3. Conclusion
FSC is intrinsically a breeding ground for SCI. The perishable nature of agricultural/food products, their vital and essential nature to life, and therefore their potentially explosive nature for the social and political order in the event of shortage, creates very strong tension throughout the FSC, between its stakeholders, with consumers and with public authorities. An agricultural/food supply that is subject to unpredictable climatic hazards, and even more so in a climate disruption trajectory, a static food demand and, consequently, high price variability, make the situation of FSC stakeholders unstable. The uneven dispersion of stakeholders creates structural imbalances conducive to the emergence of SCI.
