Cat-Nat

French system of compensation for damage caused by natural disasters, based on national solidarity.

Catastrophe; disaster

An event that affects a specific area and whose scale and cost of damage cause serious disruption to a company's operations.

Extreme weather event; extreme event

Meteorological event whose intensity is outside the usual range observed.

Vulnerability; Vulnérabilité

The way in which a company is exposed to risk. It can be physical, moral, material or economic.
