3. Conclusion

Every city that embraces the Smart City has its own priorities.

Issy-les-Moulineaux is a pioneering town that understood very early on the importance of digital technology for a city. Its digital strategy was driven by the desire to make life easier for citizens and businesses by developing e-administration. Pragmatism and an experimental approach have enabled us to move towards the Smart City by involving local stakeholders and reconfiguring urban space to generate an attractive local ecosystem. While the sharing of missions between the city, businesses and citizens is already underway, the commitment to the Wise City has yet to be confirmed.

Dijon entered the digital age later, but has made it the key to its long-term ambitions. Initially, the Smart City was based on an economic vision (energy and maintenance savings) and operational challenges...
