3. Spatial risk analysis
This paragraph presents the spatial analysis methods for estimating a disease risk obtained from the aggregation of events in geographical units and demographic data available by geographical unit. Individuals are no longer considered, but rather geographical units.
Statistical analysis involves descriptive analysis of the statistical distribution of risk values, obtained by geographical unit after standardization of the population in each unit. It also involves the search for correlations between risk and environmental data calculated at the level of geographical aggregation units.
