3. Air sampling: strategy and methodology

The aim of taking air samples and installing measurement systems in a building is to gain as accurate a knowledge as possible of the exposure of occupants (or future occupants) to indoor air pollutants. The sampling strategy concerns only premises that are (or will be) regularly occupied or frequented (offices, bedrooms, teaching rooms, activity or living rooms, etc.). We also need to take into account the various specificities and/or constraints of buildings (due to their construction, organization of premises, location, etc.)
