STIIIC (interdepartmental technical inspection service for classified installations)

The STIIIC is the department of the Préfecture de Police responsible for inspecting classified facilities. It is consulted by the Prefect on declaration and authorization applications for classified facilities, decides on the admissibility of applications, proposes technical specifications to the Prefect and ensures that they are applied.
