4. Reclaimed rubber
Rubber regeneration involves chemical or thermomechanical treatment to degrade rubber by cutting S-S, S-C and C-C bonds. As a reminder, during rubber vulcanization, C-S-C (monosulfide), C-S-S-C (disulfide) and C-(S) n -C (polysulfide) bonds are created. The binding energies are not identical.
