2. Setting up an integrated management system

Depending on the organization, its management systems and any standards used, there are several possible scenarios:

• most commonly, quality and/or environmental and/or safety and/or energy approaches deployed and implemented more or less separately and independently;

• organizations with little or no formalized management practices;

• organizations that are already part of an integrated model and on a path of continuous improvement aimed at excellence.
