In addition to traditional associations, there are associations that enjoy greater recognition from public authorities.

2.1 Approved environmental associations

Certain associations are approved by the State (Ministry of Ecology), pursuant to Articles L. 141-1 et seq. and R. 141-1 et seq. of the General Environmental Code ( Code de l’environnement ).
