Every city that commits to becoming a Smart City has its own priorities.

Issy-les-Moulineaux is a pioneering city that recognized the importance of digital technology for urban life at a very early stage. Its digital strategy was driven by a desire to simplify daily life and administrative procedures for residents and businesses by developing e-government services. A pragmatic and experimental approach has paved the way toward becoming a Smart City by engaging local stakeholders and reconfiguring the urban space to create an attractive local ecosystem. While the division of responsibilities among the city, businesses, and citizens is already in place, the commitment to becoming a Wise City remains to be confirmed.
