1. Materials and methods

The asphalt concrete used in this study is semi-grained asphalt concrete (BBSG). It has a grading of 0/10 and class 3 according to NF EN 13108-1. The binder is refined bitumen class 35/50 according to NF EN 12591.

At the Gustave Eiffel University center in Nantes, several pavement slabs* were built to standard NF P98-086 (2019) (figure 1 ). These differ according to the type of asphalt concrete used and the type of glass fiber added.
