Backbone

A backbone network used to interconnect subnetworks. It typically handles long-distance network traffic and features high-capacity channels that enable high transmission rates. In quantum networks, the applications of a quantum backbone network are similar. A quantum backbone network is used to interconnect multiple quantum subnetworks and has corresponding input and output nodes for interfacing.

Bell's measure

The Bell measurement (or "Bell State Measurement" (BSM)) is a projective measurement operation that projects a two-qubit system onto one of the four Bell basis states, allowing the entangled state to be identified. It is performed using a device called a Bell State Analyzer (BSA), which is crucial for applications such as quantum teleportation and entanglement swapping.
