4. Phase analysis and imaging
Raman imaging is now hyperspectral mapping; direct imaging by optical filtering to retain only the specific component(s) of a phase or parameter is no longer used . The Raman (or Rayleigh/Brillouin) image is obtained by constructing parameters/ranges from the spectrum acquired at each–mapping measurement point.
