A private contract does not necessarily consist of a single document, but rather of a set of contractual documents with which the parties must be familiar. In the event of contradiction between documents, an order of priority must be defined. The standard NF P03-001 sets out a hierarchy of contract parts, but the parties remain free to depart from this hierarchy. In fact, the hierarchy proposed by the standard NF P03-001 is not mandatory. On the one hand, it is obviously not binding on parties who do not submit to the application of the standard.
