Following on from the general provisions

and the construction rules
[TBA 3 051]
relating to high-rise buildings (IGH), the legislator has laid down special provisions concerning IGH owners and occupants (articles GH 57 to GH 65). In view of the risk of fire, which can cause major damage and even loss of life, it is necessary to define the obligations of owners and occupants in the following areas:
