6. Heritage
The concept makes it possible to define a new "derived" class B from an existing "base" class A. To do this, proceed as follows:
class B : public A // or private A or protected A

// or redefinition of existing members in A // (data or functions)

The process can be repeated at will: from B, we can very easily derive a new class C, from C a new class D, and so on.
