What is the Higher Council for Classified Facilities?

This is the former name of the current Higher Council for the Prevention of Technological Risks. The name change took place in 2010 (Art. 3 of the ordonnance n°2010-418 du 27 avril 2010 ), harmonizing the provisions relating to safety and the declaration of public utility for pipelines transporting gas, hydrocarbons, and chemicals.
