Introduction to Bilan Carbone: choosing to carry out a Bilan Carbone

The Bilan Carbone® method and its various tools will enable you to respond to the various demands for GHG emissions accounting and reduction.

A greenhouse gas inventory, similar to a simplified Bilan Carbone®, has been mandatory since 2012 for private-sector legal entities employing more than 500 people, and 250 in the French overseas departments and territories (DOM TOM) or public-sector legal entities (cf. Main provisions of article 75 of law no. 2010-788 of July 12, 2010 (Tool 1 )).
