2.1.1 Determining the mass flow of a hybrid flow
The reaction mixture in a hybrid system is an initially subcooled liquid. A liquid is subcooled if its temperature is below its saturation temperature at the current pressure in the vessel. A subcooled liquid is also referred to as a compressed liquid, to mean that the pressure in the enclosure is higher than the saturation pressure at the temperature of the medium.
