2.1 Parameters
The HAZOP method calls on specific parameters that are expressed in simple words (nouns or verbs) characteristic of the design intent, which can be defined as follows: They can be defined as "physically measurable quantity, action or operation to be carried out". Table 2 lists some of the most frequently used parameters in the process industry.
It should be noted that man is a stakeholder in the operations and actions to be carried out. So it's easy to see why his role in plant safety is crucial.
